THE IMPACT DEEP DIVE
When you care about the impact your organisation creates and have competing priorities and different stakeholders to consider, deciding where to focus isn’t always straightforward without the impact knowledge and expertise in-house to help join the dots.
The Impact Deep Dive is a focused two-hour facilitated workshop that brings your team together to do exactly that.
Together, we’ll look at your existing strategy and goals, the people and places you affect, where you’re already contributing and where there’s potential to go further. We’ll use recognised frameworks, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to challenge your thinking, identify opportunities and make informed choices about where to focus your impact.
You’ll come away with shared strategic priorities and a co-created Impact Priority Map that can help shape your impact or sustainability strategy, guide future decisions and give your team a clearer direction for action.

- Explore the bigger picture, considering intersectionality + the people, communities and places your organisation affects.
- Connect with your strategy, looking at your existing goals, values + future direction so impact isn’t treated as something separate.
- Explore a pre defined set of SDGs, identifying the two or three most relevant to your organisation and where you’re already contributing.
- Prioritise where to focus, considering your existing contribution, stakeholder importance + strategic alignment.
- Turn thinking into action, identifying realistic opportunities and mapping them against potential impact and the effort or resources involved.
“Sarah is an excellent facilitator. She led our Green Team through a thoughtful, interactive and well-structured two-hour Impact Deep Dive workshop to help us identify how we make a positive impact and align more strategically with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sarah then helped translate what were complex ideas into clear, practical priorities and next steps. We learnt a great deal in the workshop, knowledge that is now helping to develop our new impact strategy.” Head of Learning & Participation, Turner Contemporary
“We have really appreciated working with Sea of Purpose. Sarah has been a supportive and thoughtful partner, helping us shape and strengthen our environmental plans and a more embedded and confident approach to our planning.” Head of Learning & Participation, Turner Contemporary
